Sri Lanka

Colombo

Gale

The most beautiful city on the island, where the Portuguese began to build a castle in the 16th century, the Dutch expanded it with a wall in the 17th century, and during the British occupation, the port of Galle became the most important port in the country. Today, the old city of Galle and its fortifications are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Churches, mosques and Buddhist temples testify to the history of different communities living in Galle.

Yala National Park

For wildlife lovers, Yala National Park is a must-visit while in Sri Lanka. The park is particularly rich in flora and fauna and is home to the largest number of leopards in the world.

Southern beaches

The south of the island is famous for its wonderful white sand beaches surrounded by coconut palms. Weligama Big Bay is known as a surfer's paradise and is also home to famous fishermen on rafts.
